We absolutely LOVED our lunch here. The view from where we ate on the deck was beautiful. Lots of hummingbirds! The chicken sandwich and the quesadilla were delicious. Very friendly staff. The lunch/dinner menu had a lot to choose from. Go here to eat when you visit, you won’t be disappointed!

Great spot on our drive to the coast. Food was delicious and good portions. We have a toddler who ate all his as well. Amazing views and so nice to have hummingbirds!

We stopped here on our way back to Liberia from Arenal volcano and we were very glad we did! Food was outstanding, extremely reasonably priced and the fried chicken and nachos we took for the road were amazing!

Stopped in for lunch while exploring an extended stay for next year. The warmth of the owner of Gustitos Criollos won us over. The place is super clean, the food was delicious and the view was spectacular. We will spend three months here and enjoy this restaurant more often.

What a delightful find Gustitos Criollos has been! We first stopped by for a snack and tried their maduros with nata- a perfect treat with a stunning lake view. The place is spotlessly clean and welcoming. Our second visit for lunch we tried their Casados- I had the beef while my husband enjoyed the fish option. The food is authentic local cuisine prepared with care and cleanliness. What truly sets this place apart is the wonderful service. The lady who works there (possibly the owner) remembered our preferences from our previous visit and was incredibly attentive and kind. For delicious typical Tico food served with heart and a beautiful view, Gustitos Criollos is a must-visit!

Although we didn't eat here, the owner was gracious enough to let us use the wifi to find our hotel. It's really hard to find nice people in this world, but the owner and customer treated like family.

The food was very good, but the view and the humming birds were great, kind of weird that this place wasn’t full, but that just meant we could have lunch on the balcony. I would return if I was closeby
